^^^ I didn't cheat if that's what you're implying (thanks GD) although I'm fairly sure that's what it is. Going by the colour it looks like it could have possibly been done under a more powerful microscope so could even be a smaller section object.

A quick google of "guitar string close up" brings back that picture.

For interest purposes (not suggesting cheating at all!!!) I like the idea of people taking a photo of things they own/have lying around!
(Suppose a macro of a guitar string is hard to take though!)

Coffee beans SH!T out by Monkeys then roasted its called kopi luwak,
