That is a fantastic photo. Even though I am predominantly a twin tip rider I am really impressed. Gotta ask, Did you land it?

Would love to say yes but no didn't land it. The board flipped away on the way down. Felt good while it lasted though!

Landings are definitely not important for air of the year competition - they aren't important at the best of times.

Jesus, Eppo's son rips... Damm it my daughter more into SUP and surfing she is so light a fart would launch her 40 feet. She said dad on the other hand needs to loose some kgs to get as high... Love this thread...

I shot this last night off Surfers Paradise beach under lights . Not a tack sharp shot but it was still pretty dark for a 400mm lens . Solid effort by Lance Hinton in gusting 30 knot winds in a solid messy swell. Good boost you can just see the horizon in bottom of pic .He had 2 torches on his foot straps.

I asked a random fella to take a pic of me today and email it to me (super nice of him right!).

Anyway this is what he came back with. Not gonna win me the prize, but still worthy I reckon. I was doing them twice this big further out back haha

fark me, my two foot boosts off the back of a wave look somewhat smaller in comparison- mind you my stories at the pub are probably similar after a few jars
