Did you sell your Zepher and TT, have you got your eye on the new Zepher?

cheers,

Robbie

ps how cool was the guys a Bali Bagus Kiteboarding, from storing gear over night, nicely layed out next day, wicked food and cold cold beer and softdrinks, all with big smiles!!! Better not tell to many people, might get too busy next time.

Sold the lot Robbie, even the coffin roller bag.

Not sure what big kite to buy next.

Certainly won't be buying another light wind TT old surf board and skim board for me next year.

No brainer which beach I'll be kiting from next year, but lets keep that our secret.

Can't vouch for the Bintang but the rest was first class. If it wasn't for Bagus crew I'll probably still be swimming from that wipe out at Occa's

... thats great, sell it and you don't have to carry it home, double bonus! Yeah Bali Bagus Kiteboarding was epic for sure, Putu makes one mean chicken soup and having a boat handy incase you get caught by a big one out the back with an icey cold beverage ready when you get back, legends!!! I've booked my spot for next year!!!

Couldn't help yourself could ya robbie!! Lol!!

Cat hey tony, the ozone bug and the need to try and do some unhooking so your son doesn't completely write you off as a has been!!! Lol.

I remember our convos on the beach. Don't worry I feel the same.

Man your son is going to rip once you get him on an actual C kite, that rebel is holding him back man.

Cat has an awesome low end IMO. Won't be same as rebel though, rebel has that aspect working of it...but its a heavier kite.

The cat actually drifts to..

And who is to blame for this condition ?

Mate , seriously , we've watched you on the 19 exclusively for months doing loops and in the surf - what do you hope to achieve with such a small kite ?

Fair question tony...he was at changu though a real wave. The edges defects in the surf would stand out like dogs balls in that.

yep, fair question, and i'm not changing anything about the edges, still love em for free ride and boost etc etc, but i have been looking for a decent (strapless, down the line) wave kite for a while. i need a 14M, or a very gutsy 13/12... Other than something with some bottom end, the drift characteristics are my most important criteria.
i actually thought the CAT was a bit of a heap, but it did the job in cross shore stuff better than i expected, and certainly heaps better than my Rebels do. will probably hold off for a while as our local guy has a 12M dice coming for demo, so will try this first.
must admit it was a bit of a challenge to start with riding such a tiny kite...
and Eppo, the young fella is hassling the crap out of me for a C4...
back to reality tonight.... ouch!

Yep . Agreed . Need a wave specific 14ish m can handle light/medium onshore .

My evo 2013 14m is better in waves than rebel but still has characteristics missing - IMHO - of course ( cant believe I am using that acronym )

Look forward to trying the dice
