"But man, should you really be selling this stuff to a newbie?"

"But man, it would be immoral to sell it to a newbie who's had no lessons."

"That's strictly correct. No proof of lessons, no sale. I need to be prudent, dude."

"You're a righteous fellow, man."

"You too, dude."

"Whatever man. Anyway, it's easy selling stuff when it's windy."

"I have a slightly different selling policy in the off-season, dude."

That really does sound like a slur at a certain well known retailer/school.. Is it necessary??

I gather you don't like to answer direct questions or are capable of articulating yourself without hiding behind fictional characters Waveslave.

"hiding behind fictional characters' ??? ^^^
lol.
I'm actually fully revealing myself.
I'm making known my thoughts and showing my true colours.
I'm naked, Barry.

RPM,
Are you trying to make this piece personal or something ? ^^^
There was no mention of shops or schools in the text.
Don't assume it portrays your narrow view of the kitesurfing scene.
The text is an expression of my imagination.
Fiction is, by definition, subjective.
The story is not aimed at anyone.

it was practically identical to an earlier topic.. 'notice to noobs'

If it wasn't I wouldn't have brought it up.. You wrote the dude/man post not me.. It just seems like your mocking someones stance on selling to inexperienced people without lessons first.

I just did a search and read the topic you referred to. ^^^

That topic is about a shop.
The Dude and Man story is about two fictional characters who sell stuff privately throughout the year.

Footnote:
The majority of secondhand kite gear is sold privately, not through shops.

maybe there is flaws in your dude and man posts? Maybe they send out mixed messages?

Maybe your just old?

Either way keep up the good work. I love dude and man.

“Dude, I don't like what you post.”

“Why don't you like what I post, Man?”

“Cause Dude, I don't understand what your point is.”

“Didn't you read my post properly, Man?”

“I did Dude, but it's pretty ambiguous and my interpretation makes me angry.”

“C'mon Man, this is an open forum, everyone can post what they like.”

“But not if I don't agree with what you post, Dude.”

“Whatever Man, I just wish there was more wind so you had something better to do.”

“Now that's something I can agree with, Dude.”

When you're thirsty and it seems that you could drink the entire ocean—that's faith DUDE; when you start to drink and finish only a glass or two—that's science. MAN

Start a poll I say.
Regulars here will know Puppet & Slave have faced off (sometimes even seriously) on more than the odd occassion but this is a "forum" - definition = place for expression of opinions.
Just cos Slave is wrong most times he sprouts { lol } doesnt mean he is pushing some weird theory through his Dude & Man posts.
He is a very cunning-linguist . His turn of phrase is totally enjoyable.
I vote G.O. to Dude & Man - bring it on.

And besides: I also think Slave picking up on the 'no lessons/experience = no kit' thread was both topical (as comedy comment ought to be) but also pointed way more at resellers NOT retailers.

carry on....... lol
