Yep I pulled my soggy copy out of the mailbox on my way into work for a 12hr nightshift, I've had a quick flick through and it looks pretty good, it's drying out in front of the heater ATM, I will get back to it later.

I've had a couple of precursory looks thru the mag and it looks good...........well done KBM Crew it definitely looks better than the last issue.

My initial impressions which need to be taken as positive comments are:

1. Why are the manufacturers still advertising last seasons gear when the new seasons gear is about to be released??? (put that to them)

2. I was surprised that the harness review didn't include Pat Love considering how widely they are used (Maybe that's just on the West Coast)

3. I was looking forward to the Cocos article; admittedly i haven't read it but i didn't find the choice of photos showed what a paradise it is. I dont know what photos were made available for the article and i want this to be a constructive observation.

Hope this is taken as its intended; thanks KBM Crew

hey wetta thanks for the positive feedback
here is a quick clarification on the above
1 Advertiers are still promoting last years gear as until about october - or late september in some case that is all that is available
most of them are still shooting their images as we are putting this issue together -
The September issue is the launch issue for the new seasons gear -
So this is when the all the new models will be profiled.

2 On the Pat Love harness - who ever distributes this is not in contact with the mag - and therefore when we requested distributors to give us the info on the harnesses we didn't get it it submitted - I have heard of this brand but I have not seen it in retailers over on the east coast

3 On the Cocos article - we did have great shots to use but with limited space trying to fit an article in we maybe did not do the visuals justice - so We take on board your comments.
We will be profiling Cocos a bit more over the next issues - so we have more opportunity to showcase how good this place is.

thanks so much for the input we are dead keen and keeping this mag Australia's premiere publication -
cheers
Bruce

Thanks for the feedback Bruce i thought this was probably the case

Pat Love are pretty big on the west coast but then i think the Australian distributor is based here in Perth

Cocos article was good i thought it was just going to be on Kiting and couldn't understand why you didn't have more of the great kiting shots i have seen from there. so my bad for not reading the article first

I look forward to the next issue
