Cauncy and his crew did a brilliant job, nice and relaxed and great wind to boot.

The downwinder was great, luvely coastline and brilliant food at the Burnt Barrel.

Still trying to recover but what a great weekend.

Thanks guys

Awesome event all round - a big THANK YOU to Mick and the MWWF posse - its a real skill to maintain a relaxed, fun atmosphere whilst taking care of the safety and the logistics seamlessly in the back ground. Also, Gero folk are friendly which really added to the whole thing....best long weekend!

So with all the demo kites up in Gero the other weekend. Any quality reviews from independent competent riders, who were able to fly a few similar kites back to back in the same conditions? Boosting/Freeride/hybrid i.e. Cross over kites and wave kites please. The more the merrier. Thank yous

We all planned to demo kites early on Friday. But the wind didn't kick in til 4, then the focus was on the big air comp. Saturday was taken up by the downwinder. And Sunday the wind was just light. So I think the only review you'll get is of Windfest overall. And it was awesome.

Heard good things about the fone bandits, north rebels, edge v9 looked wicked, flysurfer boost, couple of guys going big on cores, peter lynns
airush c, ozone hyperlink 9 was surprisingly going big in lightish conditions compared to Le kites, epic screamer was in good hands , also watched some zian kites on sat morning going great in mid 20/ high 20s
couple of guys were having fun on the evos,
shame you missed the gig as there were plenty of kites to play on
big thanks to all the shops and brands that made the event a great success

If you were at the MWWF and got some photos, please post them on this thread. Or video clips. Most of us organising the gig didn't really get much down time to shoot so would appreciate anything anyone is willing to share.

Big shout out of THANKS to everyone who came along from all over the place to join us for the weekend. And especially Lee and the Buzz Kites crew to made the trip over from the East Coast, Tom and crew all the way from Exmouth and to the Esperance crew. We really appreciate the efforts everyone put in to make it a great weekend. It was a sensational group of people who came. We also really appreciate the cooperative environment that everyone contributed toward. There were no hassles of any kind with anyone or any of the local organisations and everyone was super well-behaved!

Onya folks! SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!.

Post those photos and vids! :-)

No, but disappointed tbh, Carnt see why crew say yes then don't follow through, shame as his brand was in the top 3 of the big air event, and a standout generally on the beach, it was a fun gig and a great wknd ,
