A most worthy person if I can say so:) thanks again Lish , she even brought the kite to me;) and to everyone at Seabreeze, especially Darren for starting this thread, it's nice to know people these days do still care about one another and I am stoked to be apart of such a great community:) without you guys I'd probably still be sitting on the beach wishing I was in the water, that dream is right there in front of me now and I have you all to thank:) xx

Good Thread Darren,

I'm going to throw in my Airush Fusion Mutant 157. Its the orange one, Colin McCulloch design. Also has a few spare large fins and fin blanks to set it up for waves. Will drop it off today at the shop.
Chris.

Hey Chris/Daz
Would this be any good for me to try wave riding?? I already "paid it forward" with a decent kite to Chelle today :)

Cheers

I completed my BKSA kite instructor course today along with a whole group of highly motivated trainee instructors who now need to get some logged hours of instruction under their belt to gain full instructor accreditation.
Rather than offering reduced rate lessons - under qualified supervision - as is the usual protocol - I think this 'pay-it-forward' scheme warrants offering some totally free lessons to anyone who is 'genuinely' in need of beginner lessons but may be hesitant due to the cost.
If you know anyone who may be keen to take up kite lessons on a 'pay-it-forward' plan please get them to PM me through SB with a name & no. or call 9336 7884 during bus. hrs.
A Win Win Win opportunity all round here for genuine applicants.

Thanks to Stoff, Little o reaped the reward of her generosity with a flash new board.

Nice one everyone!

Getfunky also retrieved his booty of what I thought was the donated Pat Love Cast harness. After Marvin picked up the kites that had gathered for the kids in PNG, I discovered the original PL cast with leash.

In the spirit of the thread, GF keeps the almost new Cast and there is still a PL Cast to give away in Large.

Imagine how much positive energy this thread can attract and disperse amongst the kiting community if we keep it going.

Long live good Karma!

Here's a little o, stokin' on her new board. Rip it up girl!

LOL - I did say "Geez this looks almost new."

Happy to swap back tho.

Top marks to Ms O - agree with Tighty and think Ms O's donated kite is the most generous contribution yet. Well deserved of the board i reckn. Hope it rocks on light days. Nice to say g'day briefly too.

Sorry couldn't stay longer (time's always ticking) as was good to share the karma vibe .

This karma thread has got legs which is great to see.

Stoked some PNG kids will get a fang on my old gear too.

If there is a spare PL harness I would love to take it off your hands. The only problem is that you would have the hassle of having to send it East via Australia Post. Of course I am happy to pay the postage via paypal. Let me know if this is possible and I will send you a PM :)
Thanks

We have 4 (genuine) grateful takers on the free lessons so far. More welcome.
We also had one guy in today who is kiting already but 'very badly' (his words) cos he didnt get lessons to start out.
Bad bad bad - yep sure is. But more than happy to help straighten out anyone else in this boat as well.

One of our potential L platers is offering some pest control work as his pay-it-forward good deed. Anyone with bugs please give me a ring - 9336 7884 during shop hrs.

Hi all, am a mountains guy who had a burn to kitesurf, but instead learnt the land art of buggying, bought some gear early on which hasnt been used.

1 only Gath helmet medium never worn hasnt even been outside.

Would prefer for this to go to a newb as they need it most.

Hi

Anyone in need of a Mystic Float Jacket. It's black and medium, which suits a 38 inch chest and is good up to 80 kg. My girlfriend hasn't used it in ages, and the jacket is in great condition. It's designed to work well with a harness underneath, and will give good impact protection.

PM me if you're interested, I'm in the Woodman Point (Western Australia) area at the moment.
