heard a rumour last night that the Angels are playing at the pub on saturday, someone might want to check it out just in case, seen several gigs there and its normally packed.
Yep, The Angels are playing in the Lanno Tav on Sat night. It's gonna be a ripper of a weekend! Crazy mix of kiters, surfers, fisherman, bogans, bikies and country folk.. and hopefully some bikini clad scando's!

hard one to call
Hi! Anyone available to give me a lift for the day...? I live in Fremantle but could move my 2 kites and 2 boards to anywhere... if a friend will let me borrow a wave board. Also up for staying around Lancelin overnight for a windy Sunday.
I'm inviting a few "bikini clad scando's" in case there are spare seats and they're willing to join :-)

I wonder if it is possible to run two heats at the same time? Could work with earlier heats to get things moving. Depends on how many people can jusdge ect.
Comps are always hard, with a surf comp its unusual to get good waves and we need to add wind to the mix. I dont think you will ever get the perfect condtions everyone hopes for. Last year was about as good as you could hope for, if not a tad too windy for those sitting on the beach.
I think it was a good call to wait till this weekend, atleast we will have some waves. Im confident there will be something to kite on Saturday, a whole days worth might not come off though.
i wouldnt rely on the seabreeze graph for lano as it always under calls the wind. in the middle of summer gero and perth can be honking and forecast 25-30 and lano graphs forecast only 15-20 and its actually nuking. best thing to do is go between lano forecast and gero forecast for what lano usually is. i think it will be better to watch as we wont get blown off the beach like last year but who knows- it is wedge and its always friggn windy there so i think we will get it done we just need to be ready to go for first heat as soon as that wind kicks and get the lightweights( juniors) out asap.
this is current forecast as at thursday night and looks like we should get around 14-17 knots allday and a fun lil swell is forecast.

I'm coming up Friday night. ****ing roos had better stay outta my way. See you all down there Saturday morning.
Wind was early and a bit fickle but waves were there. Had a good long session on a 12m then over to take in the last few heats. Looked to be running really well and everyone was having a good time despite to light conditions.
ive just had a stiffy for 18hrs thinking about the monster girl ,all gone now im applying for a job with monster driving the hilux im very experienced at that.apart from that was a great day out wedge is a great spot for a comp big thanks again to organisers and volenterers legendary, was good to go to pub and have some rocking tunes to end the day was a very wobbly drive home this morning,oh forgot to mention taking the masters tittle yewwwwww the swell and winds up im going kiting more frothhhhh l
