Man that music sucks!

To appreciate it you normally need to have listen to other similar genres to know why it sounds good. It isn't about simply appreciating harmonies but knowing why it sounds good within the context of the framework of other genres and styles. It's a break away from instrumental hip hop into a bit more of an abstract realm with a bit of techno fusion thrown in on the drums and ambient on the synths for good measure.

Music extends beyond the range of jimi hendrix guitar riffs and nickleback emotional whining (which I know r ur favs m8)... just because you haven't been bothered to explore it doesn't mean u r right bro.

I like the song, whats the title? I like it because it uses a sample of this girl saying I love you from another track but I can't remember what it is, it was from a mix with this song in it afaik:

Huh??
It's just slowed down music from the 80's with a few sound effects thrown in.

uuuuuuhhh... no it's not, lol

Each to their own when it comes to music, but that music is about as entertaining as two Whales rooting.

Then you must of not read or misread what I said. You know when you listen to those random movements tchaikovsky or bach or whatever and you are like "what the f%ck is this sh$t?? Well, there are people who are trained know what it is about and can appreciate it but the ignorant people can't because it sounds "disharmonious" It is an ACQUIRED TASTE through learning about alternative music.

Do you see how that is the sample used in the original track? It is called sampling, it is a phenomenon of 21st century technology... of course all of this is way past your time. Boards of Canada are known worldwide and play at festivals etc. and even started in 1987 so i guess that must say something about your taste in music... what do you want me to put on some tom waits for you? steely dan? rolf harris? get a life!

You're absolutely right. I'm going to rush out now and buy heaps of drugs, join a hippie commune and lie down in a Paisley bean bag and chill the f**k out.
I'll then ring all the radio stations and inform them of their short sightedness for not playing this ground breaking feast for the ears for all to enjoy.
Lastly I'll chastise the s**t out of myself for having the audacity to express an opinion out of the realms of your psychedelic visionary.
Peace, love and Zen to you Oh Great Guru.

I reckon the music is great! Along with the kiting it makes for one of the most interesting kite clips I've seen. Personally I'm sick of the standard EDM being used in kite clips.

drewpweiner what is the BOC sample used from 3:28 onwards?

kkiter - some perspective for you - Boards of Canada are widely regarded as one of the best (or the best) electronic music acts of all time. A rare 12 inch went on ebay in 2013 for $5,700usd. Not saying you have to like the music or anything though

I bet you sit alone at night repeating in your heard your favorite chorus from songs like this:
