My kombi is good, i can stack a heap of gear in it, but it takes forever to get anywhere. It's good if there is no wind, i can just switch on the flatscreen sit back watch some tv or kite dvd's, cook up a feed & enjoy a cool beverage. All the windows are tinted and have curtains so it doesn't get to warm in summer. There is enough room to fit my wife two kids all my kiteing surfing and holiday gear. There is enough room in it to all sleep in it as well. I have traveled half way around Australia in it and had a blast if i sit on 80kph it would run on a oily rag but get it up to 120kph it chews through the juce like a V8 race car.
remember seeing a sick black delica that a forum member was trying to sell year or so ago - interested in seeing similar vehicles and their mod's.
this is not the vehicle
Mate of mine in the UK has a pretty cool kite van that I've always envied.
In the bottom right of the second photo is a shower that runs from a diesel heater, so he always has a warm shower waiting for him after a session (useful in the UK!) The diesel heater keeps the van warm when he's camping somewhere.
1.3 L Hookworm? That's the APV not the Carry right? I like both. Probably my next car I think. Wouldn't mind the option of seats in the back sometimes though. I'm basically after an awesome massive van that fits everything and everyone and costs nothing to run so I can drive it a long way to work every day. hahaha. Suzi's seem the closest option atm.
i got sick of walking to the nearest petrol station with my jerry can when it ran out.
got gas installed.
they dont do gas jerry cans.
now i drive the missus civic
perfect for group downwinders
Or on second thought, this would be very handy around the lakes for clearing a decent spot of trees.
4runners good enough for me.
carn' bingles, can't believe you started this thread and haven't shown us your pimped up bus yet. is the $2500 stereo in it yet?!?
