I went for a more heavily rockered wake style board with boots. No wind when I bought it so first trial was at cable park: first off I thought "WTF have I done?" But within an hour was quite enjoying the loose, skatey feel of it. Had a number of sessions on this board now (flat water and riding no fins) and absolutely love it. Needs about 1 1/2 extra kite size so mostly ride it when I'm a bit over powered with my regular TT.
