Straps = no confidence
unstrapped = confident and lovin it

CL=chicken loop.....if you look at some of the older shots of felix (before he got dropped by airush), top hat and a few other hawaiian waveriders they use C kites with no chicken loop, the loop attaches directly to the bar so no "throw" on the bar at all.

back in the day control bars had 2 loops, the fixed one, and another one you hooked into that allowed you to depower using the bar. hence "chicken" loop because you take the easy way out by using it. times have changed eh....
