Thats good to know. think its the original pop. black with pink n blue patterns on it, blue bottom.

I actually prefer the look of the old pop. Quite like the basic graphics personally.. Anyways solid board choice.

Anyone (besides rowdy ;) had a go on the new Tranq or Billy? I know theyve changed a bit this year. Saw a guy out at SB/pond on the Billy the other day..

If you're wondering main changes are;

- Tiniest bit more rocker
- Better slider base
- Nicer rail finish

Besides that they will be pretty much the same to ride as the 014 models. I really liked how they worked, no point changing them until we have something better to release .

Yeah NickT's got the new Billy atm but he cant ride it. I took it out for a session at the pond and at Pinnas last week to see how it went.
Nice board but it felt quite big. Was great at the pond, and it may be that I need to widen the stance, but in the chop of pinnas it felt too big for me.

How tall/ heavy are you?

I don't suggest anyone to put the stance on the widest setting with 6inch baseplates, the only reason those holes are there is to accomodate older baseplates and also to make the inserts stronger as the optimal stance is the middle setting.

Was set to the narrowest, which is 10 mm narrower than the pops second widest. Not sure it's set right yet as I rode it at cable for the first ride then trashed my arm. Felt good there but there is still plenty of board to go wider, if the legs will take it!

You'll dig the Pop. It's an easy shape to transition to as it only has around 45mm rocker and nice grippy channels. It's also bombproof which is wonderful. Just about the only board I haven't broken. The weight thing is honestly only noticeable to people that do tricks with their kites high. It makes it harder to pull up into passes (i.e. makes it harder to dangle tricks). If you go into a trick with a lot of speed and your kite in the right position you will find the swing weight to be helpful. Hope you enjoy you new ride! Lots of good options out there nowadays loving how into wakestyle companies are getting

Ok, sounds like it's the right size board for you if you are used to riding bindings/ wakeboards.

I would however suggest to run it on the middle stance, the narrowest stance will make the board feel pretty big and harder to set an edge. If you had the 137 I would say the narrowest setting is an option.

Yeah that's what I thought. Now I just got to ask NickT to let me use it again and screw around with his bindings
Interestingly enough, even though I felt uncomfortable on it I was landing more consistently than I normally would
