Its an awesome shot. I guess to this shows the difference in height between windsurfers and kitesurfers. This sort of height punching off a wave lip on a windy day is normal business if you didn't send the kite too hard.

Nope. That's international rules of any jumping in any sport.

You must land it or its a general failed result.

The difference also is it takes years just to learn how to sail that size board in and out thru waves without getting trashed, and to make all your gybes etc

That is halfway thru a backloop which is another few steps up the ladder.

It is a seriously difficult thing to do so the difference in who can jump higher is irrelevant, unless you are referring to how he had to make all that height himself - not get easily lifted up to that height

Dafunk, we unhook for everything except straight line so hardly suprising he is :/

After inventing the nail, I wonder how many years it took poley's to invent the hammer ?,
after finally realising their foreheads were getting sore

The only repetitive banging head on things is threads like this when a guy posts a really good pic of himself doing somethign real fkn hard
and the other side need to troll about (1) age or (2) we can get higher easier

That's why I just mentioned it may not be all about the height
