i have noticed my 6m comes up great in a commercial sized front loader (cool wash ofcourse) with a little OMO. Whats everyone else using?
None. each time you wet your kite, it deteriorates, especially in fresh water. If your going to wash your kite, rinse it in the ocean!
I find a front load of Omo a bit rich. I like toploaders with some home made soap and cuddly softener.
Every now and then I kite in the rain and god washes my kite for me. That is of course if you believe in an imaginary friend in the sky.
I frequently crash my kite, so washing it is no worries.
Drying it is more a problem.
I can get my 9m in the dryer but my 12 wont fit.
Any suggestions here??
Sooooo expensive at dry cleaners... Especially the big sizes.
If you turn inside out every other session you can use twice as long between cleans..
I've also found using hair spray really helps for beading the water...

I chuck my bar and lines in the washer as well as my kite add some softener as well feels so soft
My 10m pulled like an 8m after a 30min warm cycle in the dryer. I think the bonds in the thread constrict due to the heat and it pulls all of the kite in a bit. It still looked the same but it had that shrinky dink sheen to it afterwards.

I'm pretty sure rain is a real thing Plummet.
Why are we all wasting our time responding to this stupid thread?!
Rinse your kite and allow to dry, once in a while!!
