Sweet more time to kite.
Well, to sort of answer the original question regarding kiting at Pt Broughton,
Walshy carving light chop at Webling Beach Sat 8/11/008.
5 Hrs on the beach. Wind 15 - 23 kts. Flat water at similar depths to Milang.
Walshy taking Fossil's Sof-X "ice cream truck" for a run.
Walshy did comment (several times) that he did not realise that this Fossil was still learning to get up on a board.
Gracious to the MAX, Walshy offered not only his advice but also a couple of attempts with his REV 13 & board......all agreed that for damage control it would be best for us learners to return to our own gear [:D
At the end of the day Walshy got some good air time, finds a new spot and is entertained somewhat......by fossil's beach body surfing.. a few beers & all is good......a few more beers & the pain starts to ease
Thank god for deserted beaches.
A short discussion with Walshy, (the only one with any real kiting experience between us), regarding the original question of Kiting the Boughton Bay, south of the Jetty, came out that some one with experience & good upwind ability could do it easily.
Thanks again for the advice & good company.
