The issue with this particular post starts with the title, 'who owns sandgate'

Yes fair enough. The beach is owned by no one and i hope it stays that way, maybe mis titled. But that wasnt what the post was about, it was more about the respect and consideration towards fellow kiters. Im sure none of you would like it if the same person is constantly right in your landing zone stopping you from doing anything.

The bottom line here is this:
If chucky approached oldw with grievances after the session, there would have been about two minutes max of conflict resolution, all misunderstandings would have been cleared up, all problems solved there and then.
Easy, Just find that old guy with the red cap next time at the beach.

Sandgate was my stomping ground for the first 5 seasons of kiting, its a brilliant spot for everyone, learners or advanced freestylers,

If you guys are tailgating each other you need to open your eyes, the beach is huge with similar water /wind conditions everywhere. Just move up or downwind 100m, problem solved.

Still... in saying that....theres always someone who wants to make a problem.

Be a legend and keep distance!!

sounds like those cheesey anti drink driving campaigns. maybe we need one that says.

hay kooks who havent kited abroad, think having 5 kiters next to you is dangerous and uncomfortable? try multiplying that by 100 and halving the water area. if you cant handle kiting among others in a dense area and still havent figured out how a run works and arent willing to wait in line then clear off. you bloody legends

Na, this guy owns Sandgate, though he was caught at Scarborough, close enough though.

Is oldw the god of jumping big brisbane?

If I'm not mistaken this is the guy that can send it bigger than anyone else?

I couldnt care less if he was downwind of me, I'd be too busy watching him go big to do any tricks myself
