I know heaps of crew are heading North (or South for some) this early season

Just thought I'd let you know that we are already feeling the breezes as far North as the Lighthouse..

All conditions seem to be lining up for a killer September, So stoked and ready for for this season

If your not already planning a trip, get onto it

Heading up in a fortnight for 11 days, was worried I was going to be a little bit early for the wind, but this has got me excited!

Also excited to be swimming with some humpbacks...Just need to get through the next 2 weeks at work...

43 sleeps and counting. Never been to Exmouth, and new to kiting last summer, so what better excuse to take a trip up north. Can't wait, let's hope the wind has truly arrived by early October.

Absolutely. My wife had a few lessons last year, and I'm trying to convince her to have another couple while we are up there. Will definitely come and say hi, and hopefully book her a lesson or two.

Today at Woodies - worst session I've ever had. Cold, huge gust followed by absolute calm. Did I mention cold.

Too easy mate, we will look after her at the kite school if she decides to have another go. I think she will appreciate our learning environment up here, its as good as it gets I reckon

Yeh was sh1thouse. First trip away without the handbrakes for years and it sucked. One epic day though which almost made it worth it.

5 grumpy ass smelly blokes sitting around, only so much sleeping one can do.

We are flying up and trying to work out how to get as much gear as possible on the plane with us - ideally 3 kids and a twinny each (plus bars & harness). Qantas are being very vague and unhelpful regarding what their size restrictions are for luggage are on this route. It seems like golf equipment is exempt from size restrictions but not kiteboards (we were told they might need to go up as freight separately!). We are now figuring out why kite companies call their travel bags 'golf bags'. Has anyone flown up to Exmouth? Did your have any trouble getting your gear up? Any tips?

Heading up the end of sept with the Missus son and caravan. If you want your stuff taken up let us know. We were gonna fly the mother and child up but making the most of the holiday :-)

Why fly when you when you can drive, it's a breeze.

Plus you can take as much gear you can fit. Mind you if you are only going for a week then flying is a great option..

Now, Dan...get back to work and get the 4X4 serviced and caravan ready for the trip.

Qantas use a third party for the Exmouth-Perth route so maybe thats why they are being vague. They use the fokker 100 though so surfboards aren't a problem. We get plenty of customers bring them up and never heard of a problem and even had customers bring sups up although they did have a problem getting it in the airport shuttle at first(they actually got another trailer to fit it).
