That thing or one very similar was road tested years ago.........Well it wasn't quite as powerful as this one pretends to be and believe me driving at 100mph can be uncomfortable and 340mph??? Well I don't think I'd go there.. Have you seen what happens to a Phantom Jet Fighter when it hits a solid Cement Bunker at 500mph?? Ain't much solid material left, virtually Atomized..

is this where we should be

Hey Gibber, it looks 'fast', but is only a picture with "claims" of speed. No actual video of such.
No video = it did not happen

you yokels got no magnation for me its about the design angle

arrowdienamics, single rear wheel, outriggers, class. With a sail OK? yea!

one has to look and use intellegence, to project thru the millenium. [}:)]

Yeh my thoughts too.
The rear sprocket is way too big. The gearing must be pretty tall to get to those speeds.

Stills on You tube...................... chocolate kettles come to mind.
And don't get me started about power point presentations.
It looks like Kevin Rudd's brother so that put me off.

Nice looking bit of gear though.

Ok, just thought some of you might be interested in this. The project is now finished.

Our yacht came 1st position on race day with a time of 23 seconds, 2nd place was 30 seconds, and 3rd was 32. 7 seconds lead on a 30 second baseline isn't bad I think. I'm not entirely sure what distance the course was, think it was 150m.

I've included some pictures of the project below in no particular order.

Hey really well done.

Some really interesting ideas there.

"sn" is going to just love that sail.
