As i dont store my landyachts outside go right ahead. Re 16" wheel with barrow wheel i think its the width and large cross section curve which allows greater contact area and therefore greater grip assists in turning control.

actually the width of the contact patch on the clay pan is the same for both wheel types.
I shall make sure not to trip over your first yacht , when i attempt to walk along your verandah next time

If you remember that is the left overs when we rebuilt it into its present configuration. It is also under shade and every time i see it i think of possibilities and other inspirations

Not sure what you mean There are many front barrow wheels on landyachts
many of the Lefroy minis have them as well
I sailed a very similar yacht to your potty the weekend before last
Actually a lot older than the pottys but very similar It went well
I dont have any immediate plans to switch from the BMX front wheel It works fine on the beach with the treaded tyre They are readily available free from rubbish skips are light and compact and havent given us any trouble
I have refitted the original heavier ski axles to my mini now I will probably try some lighter axles again but without the screw holes next time !
I liked the ride of the lighter ones almost class 5 like
