have fun .
do we have photos?just keep in mind that youve drilled a hole at the most stressed point of the axle
12mm is very light for a rear axle and putting a split pin through it on the inside
will weaken it further Maybe you could use a high tensile bolt welded on with the nut
on the outside?
Now there is the Forum Spirit I love. Just wish it and the Forum Gene will help.
Good work boys. Just when I was thinking there is no hope for the Species.
Ron

Here he is on his first sail last year.
We need to work on getting him to put in the odd turn or two....pity the rules state you have to go both ways

both the girls have been itching to have a go in the new yacht, its definitely a elbowpad job this one
Does a seat harness count as a "seat"?
I'm hoping so, as otherwise my entry doesn't qualify
It should come in under the length and width criteria once I move the axles around.
I wouldn't worry about the speed, there's no way I'll feel safe above 20 km/h...
Hey Charlotte, I bet that yellow T shirt has,

New wheelbase is 880mm I think. Definitely less than 1050 anyway.
Still waiting for some wind to try it out... waiting... waiting...
i havent sailed my speedboard for well over a year now. I think it was because I hit 36kph and realized I could actually hurt myself WHEN I fell off
Hey Paul, remember this yacht and sailing at Mallala?
It used 20" bike wheels and fitted through a doorway of 820mm.
It was based on this yacht from the book "Landsailing from RC to the big ones"
