With the fishing comp on north of black ford drain, I will drop into Toop Rd beach again tomorrow morning for low tide. Will aim to get there around 9, probably end up being 10, wind probably won't get up until 11. :)

Up on the main beach today, parked a km north of the blackford drain. Breeze is a northerly at present. Making sand castles for a bit :)

No wind today, sailed all of 100 meters at a snails pace. Nice day at the beach though. Off to Robe tomorrow and back to the main beach for the evening and sunset. That's the plan anyway.

Yeh fingers crossed for a bit more onshore wind.
Only did 34 kms and working hard up wind with the light S/Westerly yesterday. Managed a top speed of 51.2 kmh on my kite buggy.
Beach is now in really good nick compared to the gutters across it last week.

No sailing today. Raining and very light wind, so ate fish and chips in Robe instead :) Heading home tomorrow :( Wish I could stay another four days!

Fantastic winds at the granites with 15 knots at 45 degrees onshore. Perfect ....doesn't get any better than this for fast downwinders.

Lake Nadzab is very sticky and we are currently under a high pressure system and SW wind, so won't be usable any time soon when the following low moves through and water table rises again. A real shame as when it was in drought the huge surface was a real hoot to use.
