we went out with VINDICATOR this weekend hoping to get some footage to see, but sadly i only got her up to 85kph. the footage we filmed would could as the worlds most boring adrenaline sport. the fast bit was 9 minutes of white background and a helmet occasionally moving. the wind was a measly 15kph, but TP1 was able to tow start VINDI up to 30kph with his class 5 promo.
thanks for all you patience mate

sod farm.. in the usa we grow grass that gets scooped up with roots and is transplanted to a home or whatever,,,,basically instant lawn.... it is cut in rolls and rolled out for instant lawn,.. so its supersmooth fresh grass..kinda like a golf course..lots of grass not obstacles...

We call that a turf farm here. It will be nice and flat but the surface may be a little too soft or springy for landsailing.

If the yacht does not perform well on it do not let it discourage you.

Find yourself an empty car park or disused air strip where the yacht will really perform for you.

Tough kid though......back on the horse and into it .......cool.

Well,
It is this way Cisco, If any of you guys are passing through Wynyard on a Tassie trip, swing by and say G'day Mate where are these sights you've been going on about. The Nearest one is about 5 or 600 meters from my house, that is The Strip.. Pegg's is less than 1/2hr from here and Ocean Beach is a couple of hours away at Strahan, which, I might add, I will sail before too much longer. A 30knot Sw to Nw Wind will be perfect.
Ron

PS, Might even be able to find a spot for you to set up a Tent

Hey Ron
Took one of the landyachts down to Ocean beach 2 years ago.........absolutly bloody fantastic.
A 15 knt sea breeze is what you need......we had 3 days of it.
This is where the Madhatten project had its genesis.....just cruising on a close reach for miles along that beach with Tara or a mate and 2 dogs plus lunch and a few beers.
The best bit was zooming past the nudey rudies.....they had no idea we were coming...you should have seen them running for cover!!![}:)][}:)]...droves of them!
