It actually had good lights on it. They are hard to see in the pics, tho. They are mounted outside the flat bed part on the back, just behind the fenders. The landyacht's wheels hide them....

I do think a red flag or an extra light I can hang off the seat back might be a good idea also. I might even have some DOT approved reflector tape i can add to light it up some in the dark too...... Good ideas

I'd just about done with mine apart from a few bits, thought I'll check whether there's any bits I need to be aware of... and found rules for fitted light heights, widths, lense sizes, reflectors (8 separate ones fitted) and a host of other stuff. This country has gone crazy with Health and Safety rules lately. I'd check for any State by-laws but then I was just going to hang a trailer board off the back and drive into the sunset and think no one would have bothered

Cheers Col

Yeah! Col and Yank,
What with PC and H and S the world has gone to the pack.. I do believe people are becoming more Stupid as time passes. They cannot take responsibility for their own stupidity and have to blame everyone but their selves.. I had a couple of FAT COWS walk in front of me as I was driving into a car park the other day both of them were the size of small Cars. They didn't look where they were going, just walked out in front of me.. Then I had another Stupid Cow throw her Door open as I was lining up a Car Park On the street a few hours later. Mind you running over the Fat ones would have only Greased and water proofed the under side of the Rodeo..

Trailer Lights.. That isn't a bad idea John I used it when I was Hang Gliding as the Spyder was quite long when Packed for travel so I put a single Tail/Stop Light on the back end ( Note; Back End. That is for TP1 Just in case he thought the front End)[}:)]).
Col
State By-Laws?? You are in England, Aren't you?? State??

I thought that in the UK you didnt have to license trailers- you just get a copy of your car plate and hang it on the trailer?

still need to comply with lighting regs etc though.

You're right about licensing the trailer. But if it doesn't meet the UK regs that'll be a fine and points on my licence for towing it. If it's unsafe enough that would be driving with undue care and attention Worse though is it could invalidate my insurance

Ron - Course they're state laws...we're all living in a Police state[}:)] Actually that was for the benefit of Mr Yank.

Cheers Col

I think he is the bloke that built his jail out of discounted military surplus, and the prisons farms supply the food for the juvenile prison and other places in the county.
The figure I heard was he got the cost of prison meals down to thirty cents a head!We could do with that sherriff over here.
