In NSW the latest blurb from Gladys lists 16 reasons you can leave your home, anything other than the 16 listed could get you a $1000 fine.
1. You're obtaining food or other goods or services for the personal needs of the household or other household purposes (including for pets) and for vulnerable persons.
2. You can't work from home and are traveling for the purposes of your occupation.
3. You're providing assistance or personal care to a vulnerable person.
4. Childcare needs to be attended to - including picking up and dropping off kids.
5. You're undergoing education and need to travel to a learning facility.
6. Exercise is being undertaken.
7. You're obtaining medical supplies or fulfilling a carer's responsibilities.
8. You're attending a wedding or a funeral.
9. You're donating blood.
10. Being outside allows you to fulfil legal obligations.
11. Leaving your home is the only way you can access social, domestic violence, employment, mental health and or services provided to victims.
12. You're moving house or moving business.
13. A child who does not live in the same home as their parents or siblings continuing existing arrangements for access to, and contact between, parents and children or siblings.
14. You're a priest, a minister of religion or a member of a religious order and you're going to a place or worship or you're providing pastoral care to another person.
15. Being outside allows you to avoid illness or injury.
16. You're leaving for compassionate reasons or an emergency.
Number 15 surely allows you to be on your boat if you believe that it's safer there than in the house
If your boat is your home, all of the above apply to leaving your boat to go ashore.
I work in a risky essential service so am isolating myself as much as possible in case I pick it up. I'm not visiting my parents or any other friends or family. I just had a week off and was the most isolated as one can be, on my boat.
Tonight I'm back at work, and have gone there wearing a mask as it's hard to socially distance at work.
Thank you for working under risky conditions to keep society functioning
we are all very grateful
keep safe

the FAQ has a good table of dos & donts.
enjoy Easter as best you can & stay safe. cheers.
We've been given clear instructions to stay off the water this weekend.
The water police have pulled in the VMR to assist, they'll be out in force from this morning.
If you do run into them, be kind, they're only the messengers.
Have a safe and Happy Easter everyone.

That pretty much covers it and is what I have been doing. The only downside I have found is the non boating no hopers and their kids standing about on the boat ramp making social distancing difficult.
The weekend forecast for my local area is going to keep people home and safe anyway.
Honestly, I think some common sense and discretion should be played from both sides, if it clearly looks like a party on a boat, their going to ask questions. I've been up the Big creek 20kn north of Sydney Harbour since mid last week. Have seen daily Marine Rescue and Police boats, only seen a couple boats spoken too, nothing seemed to happen. Made an proxy attempt at heading home today, however the weather built quickly this morning and being single handed, turned back.
Now have to sit out the swell for a couple days, and in absolute self-isolation, so when the PM said stay safe, I couldn't be any safer!!
Provisions for a few more days, all good. And having no TV, I had almost forgotten 'The Rona'

Just back from the harbour myself after a few days in there and had a fun reefed sail out with it all on the nose for half a day. Harbour was dead quiet for a nice change and a pleasure to sail. Navy and a couple maritime vessels but no bother. Single handed here too. Even anchored in at Camp Cove and wasn't too rocky and wasn't bothered by any passing officialdom.
A fair bit of action on the water at Mooloolaba yesterday.
Only 4 yachts but at least 20 'fishing boats'.
The larger ones surely owned by folk who don't need to fish to eat.
No jetskis
Plenty of paddle craft.
Didn't see any officialdom at all.
Sailing is exercise
Exercise is essential
Most likely time to infect or get infected in the whole trip was when I dropped into the supermarket on the way home and was nearly bashed into by and old f wit in the chip isle.
Will go again (sailing, will keep supermarket trips to a minimum)
Off to kayak now, also exercise.
The mass of boats got told to go home through Port Hacking yesterday afternoon. Those sailing were left alone.
If you have a twin wire skiff, you need to sail one up.
Always good to learn a new skill, even at my age

I was offshore yesterday and there are heaps of amateur fishing boats everywhere. The car park at the local boat ramp has been packed for days while we had that patch of superb weather.

Top sailing right there, perfect conditions.
In sunny WA... YES!!!
Allowed again ? I found the announcement a bit strange considering that we never had a ban on sailing or fishing in the first place. As long as we didn't sail over to Rottnest and had no more then 2 non related parties per boat it was always business as usual in sunny WA.
