Progress has been slow but I think I've arrived at a reasonable shape. Theres so many aspects to compromise so the solution will not please everyone. It still looks a little high for my liking but any lower and I put headroom at risk.

I spoke to carrington products and they seem super helpful. I am going to get them to do the bending and save myself the headache.

The idea of a radar arch is out of reach because I cannot make one rigid enough to put the traveller on top of. I recently took a Seawind 1250 for a test sail and it has the traveller on top but the arch is quite a significant piece of engineering. Never mind...... the design I am going with is simple, reliable and affordable.

The folding couch/bed is coming along nicely and makes the bridgedeck much more functional. New cushions are being made by a local upholsterer. Should be able to sleep 2 people.
