Here's a real live test for you to look at. I left my new Waeco CF40 running on board today. I want to see if I can leave it running full time.
The boat has an 80W solar panel and at moment 2x120AH AGM batteries switched in parallel. I noticed the temperature of the fridge goes up and down a fair bit though its set to 5 Deg C.
Im interested to see the state of the batteries in the morning. Anyone interested can ping the boat and fridge. SMS the word status to 0431935720.

Just had a look, cool, I have same battery and solar system.
@2130 your batteries were 12.93/6V PIR triggered????? Fridge hot @10.7 deg C
I'll be interested in final results.

It seems no problem to leave the fridge on full time. I just realized that the temperature is wavering from 6 - 10 Deg C because the sensor is just inside the lid of the fridge. I assume its closer to 5 down the bottom of the compartment. The PIR is not connected ATM, should fix it!
