How are we going to pay for them Toph ??.

Sam, once I have all the info Laurie needs he will place it in the online shop here on the Seabreeze website. Payment method would be a credit card. I don't know if other payment methods are available.

OK mate, cool.

Geting close to getting this done.'

A sample is ready and I will hopefully pick it up today before work otherwise I will get it tomorrow. I will let you all know once the burgee is in the Seabreeze store ready for you to pre-order. Once we have the numbers as already indicated here (minimum numbers required), I will put the order in. Turn around time should only be 4 days plus Aust post time from the order (my bulk order).

Thanks Sirg

I picked up a sample on Thursday but I was far from impressed in the quality. As we are only going to be doing this once (it won't continue to be offered in the 'shop') I want to get it right first go.

Hi Toph,
below are a couple of flags , SIYC (Shaggers) and Women who sail Australia. They are sitting on a 300x300 tile. The SIYC flag is a good size. Both of these flags are made by Fox flags and are of good quality. It may be worth getting a price off them as well.

John

Hi Jode,
I fly both those Burgees, but the Shaggers one has only lasted a fraction of the time of the WWSA one.

And Yes ... Add me.
I think Laurie should have a comp for the design, and he gets to choose the winner.

I approached Laurie and he let me run with it, but we are too far gone to be changing now sorry McNaughtical.

The design is literally the Seabreeze logo as this is what was already 'print ready'. To be playing around with artwork was way too expensive and I wanted the cost to remain honest and reasonable (but as I discovered it also had to be quality). But from the sample pennant I have I think it looks mint.

Well that makes sense to use the Seabreeze logo

No worries Papabear.

I am just waiting on the owner of this site to sign off on the final draft and we will all be good to go. Once Laurie has put the item in the Seabreeze online store I will let you all know and you can officially put in your order.

It is here... It has taken a bit of going back and forth, changing a few suppliers and what not. But the burgees are finally in the store. I have tried to post the link but I have had issues with that on and off since the new site format.

So go to the homepage, select Shop in the top right hand corner and select SEABREEZE. You will find a concept design of the flag. The price includes Express Post.

The listing will stay up for two weeks after which time I will place the order with the supplier. Turn around time should be 3 to 4 days plus stage time.

Thanks for you patience. It was more time consuming then I had expected..

I liked this burgee, now it is dead. I flew it often.
Was that for indoor use only?

You are supposed to lower it each day. Or at least when a Southerly is coming through......

Yeah mine is clapped out too, but it has been up 24/7 for since May last year. It has lasted just as long as the WWSA burgee and the ensign, so I am not thinking it is a quality issue (not suggesting that anyone is)

Bugger. My scrappy Helly Hansen burgee lasted three seasons. Strewth!

I was fond of the old Seabreeze burgee! Shame.

Guys, it was touch and go with getting the minimum numbers last time and if I recal,l the website owner was only interested in doing it the once.

Since the artwork has already been set up we might be able to get away with a smaller quantity. I shall ask the question.

Sad as it is, mine fell apart in about 9 months time, so no thanks!

Nevertheless, l would appreciate a replacement one
as a peace offering.

The HH burgee, which looks worse quality to start with than the SB one, lasted 18 months.
Ah...and please don't try to tell me that burgees are only for weekend use!
