Hi Andrew, I have the previous runaway and floats me well (beginner to intermediate 80kg). Do you think its an easy transition from last years board 10x29 130lts to the new Mistress 10x28 122lts with my stats?

Hey Jeg, Yeah you wont have a drama as far as I am concerned mate. It's a small drop with only 8lts difference. Tim is over 90kgs and is in love with his 10x28. I am personally 76kgs and although I have SUPed for 6 years now I have zero experience with noseriding SUPs and am comfortable getting to the nose on the 10x28.... With a shuffle however not a true cross step (but give me time).
Cheers

4 inches & 40 liters of difference between each size?
I am sure you guys have done your research, but is there a market for the bigger size in a nose rider?

Was there any though of reducing the larger size to about 29.5 inches and 135 liters?

Hey Supmonkey,

I know it may seem unusual in the way of size choices, but there is data and a rational thought process behind our decision. The shape has been refined and as such both the 10'x28' and 10'x32' models will have the lowest literage out of all 10ft SUPS in our range.

The 10'x32' model also opens up the board to a larger consumer base as the board paddles extremely well in addition to nose riding. From our data so far, we expect to sell more 10'x32' models to the general public than to the niche SUP longboarding community who would prefer the narrower 28' model.

Ultimately we are hoping to make SUP longboarding accessible and achievable to the whole SUP community with the 32' model.

Cheers

Thanks Andrew

I'm looking forward to when they are available.

If the construction is as solid as the carbon Evoke that i have been flogging for the last 3 years, the new runway is sure to be a winner.

Any update on release date and pricing?

That is the plan!.... However he is a hard man to lock in for filming between running SUPMAG and ATC. We will hopefully have something in the next couple of weeks.

Oh yeah............my new Mistress arrived today and she is a stunning beauty indeed. Finish is amazing.

Pretty in Pink and super lite and a perfectly balanced handle.

I cannot wait to get her out and see how she performs.....

J-Man, 10' X 28" X 4". Narrower than the Runway. True performance Mal.
Had it out in very bumpy Manly surf this morning. Will wait until I get it out in good conditions before I report on how it shreds.
If there is an award for best looking board on the beach - I won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!!! My wife wants it :-)
colours - you will need to check with Tim at TSBW

I have the 10' X 28" and have only had it out a couple of times over the past few months - been busy using my shorter boards. Other than looking incredible - the 28" version is for advanced shredders if you are around my weight of 100kgs as it really is a true performance style Mal. Noserides very well.

Yeah I got one of the prototypes in nov last year and love it.

Very light and pvc bamboo construction. I usually surf shorter sups (7'8 length) but now find this new stick a keeper .

Turns and nose rides well once you start moving up the board.

I pay for my boards and have no connection to the SBW. Other boards i own are DEEP, PSH and a custom so this is my first SWH purchase and for the dollars I can't fault it.

Forgot how much fun a 10 footer can be.
