That kite gaff from Keahi should be giving some of you dedicated short boarders a severe case of "Hack Envy"

Here's some more power. This is Blane Chamber's cousin Kekoa Bacalso surfing at Winki-Pop, Victoria.
I noticed nobody has mentioned the evolution of land yachting and their potential for hacking in the future. Nothing like 2" of water after a downpour to hack up the local carpark.
..........................And just to round it out, five years ago average size for a SUP would have been in the ten foot plus range, now at the sharp end their eight and under. With advances in materials and technology my guess is the pros will be riding boards in ten years time which will be hard to distinguish from short boards.

I dont think you appreciate the laws of physics....it is still going to take "X" amount of board for a 80kg guy to paddle while standing up....magic materials or not, SUP boards are never going to be as thin or as narrow as a true performance SB
Nah, not a fan of physics..... to many laws. More a fan of evolutionary theory, sh.t has a way of sorting itself out.....in the fullness of time

Only to a point.
