The tulip race was on this week end.
30 mn away from Amsterdam, 23.5km to paddle in the middle of the tulip fields. quite amazing the smell you get from this experience.
The SUP category was won by Rico Leroy on a DC17 for its 1st european race.
After the race both boards were put on a local boat so we could finally paddle in the center of amsterdam where we were expected for dinner.
A fantastic week end and a big thank you to Jeff the owner of the boat and to Guy from WOO outrigger to lend me a DC15.
great looking boards all stickered up to the hilt
amazing waterways and country side shots
nice work
rock on
Wow nice pics Alain , got anymore details from the race ? The boards look great.
Love this pic what a great looking boat you could reach in a steal a glass of wine as you paddled past
Rob
I'd love to see a shop down here stocking DC's and maybe have a new 17 on demo.. Am I asking too much..

WOW!!! Thats Soooo Awsome..thanks for sharing :) Yay!! What a fantastic way too see another country too :D
mike and myself should see our 15'6 ocean down wind boards started this week. after testing the other boards, we sat down and nutted out some design changes that should be user friendly in the ocean and still be fast .they will be wave piercing type of board
cheers
how about someone start a post regarding DC's race boards, both FW and DW and talk about development and such, then over time it becomes a record of the different designs and results of designs. just keep updating as a new board comes out. It would be easy for everyone to follow and see improvements etc

I just should have put "entering the tulip race in Amsterdam"
it was more to show what the tulip race was and maybe inspire some guys to go next year...
Anyway
Rob I don't have all the results yet....but I can assure you Amsterdam would be a good city for you. Everything you love is right there
Now the family is stucked in Europe with no plane to go back to school!
only when they start to cross post in every other thread.
Lacey start a dedicated DC raced boards thread and keep updating it....it can only be a good thing for DC and the sport.
maybe the other brands can follow as well and do dedicated threads. it will help keep the peace and be great for punters to read/see and make choices from. rather than trying to remember little bits and pieces from this or that thread and searching for hrs to not find it....
no one can complain about you posting information and pics about DC boards in a thread you start about DC boards
