a sentence or statement on a forum can be interperated in a lot of different ways depending on the mind set of the reader.

Maybe you're right Teatrea..maybe my mind set is as stuffed, sore and as stiff as my body is right now. My apologies...I just don't get some people's comments about others on this forum. Maybe it's just not meant for me. Good night.

Firstly..all you do lately is bag Woogie with your smart remarks and criticism. Reread your posts. It's uncalled for. The guys done nothing.

I don't know what you are talking about..... back up your statements with some facts, point me to some urls where I've supposedly done this.

Second..What have I got to advertise or sell ?? I'm not in the industry.

You obviously want to have more control over the way your online persona and what you post is perceived, why else would you get so upset by comments people make?

You once wrote me a personal message saying you tend to get carried away with the moment

I was simply responding to your private message apologizing for your behavior towards me the last time you became emotional. And besides a personal message is just that - no need to blurt something given to you in confidence. No respect there Sue.

Now we can't even post results and photo's to those that we actually at the races with the post being highjacked. If you're not interested in the post. Don't read it and certainly don't critasize it.

WTF. There are currently five posts on the same event, the posts about long distance events are not being "highjacked" they are being commented on and embraced by a section of the community. That's what happens in public forums. And believe it or not I am interested in the event - I love Tweed Heads, the weather was good, it was obviously grueling, looked like a lot of fun and I don't believe I was in any way critical of it.

Don't know why you guys have to start a new topic all the time about the same thing?

I'm with you on every point you raise there Oliver. I don't know what this flaming you is about at all.

As far as 'AW' posting that pic of you with your dog on board and the attached comment, that was right out of order! (I notice it's been deleted now..) You never claimed to be a 'competitior' you were just out enjoying yourself, paddling, fishing, cruising, whatever. As long as your having fun there's nothing wrong with that.

This unjustified attack kind of shocked me, cause I knew it was not true and it's taken me a day to sit back and look back at what was written. These are the only posts I found where I've ever referred to Woogie:

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=42176
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=41900

I don't know Woogie, I know he does good things for charity, is a good paddler and is maybe even a world champion. Don't really know, don't really care - wasn't having a go at him or anyone else for that matter.

The chant I made up goes with Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi. I thought it up last week when peeps were talking Woogie up and there was this contest thing between Hawaii and Australia and there were lots of posts about stroking and technique. The chant just came to me and sounded kind of funny.

Don't stress too much over it Oliver.. I know you didn't mean anything by it.. Maybe it's a Melbourne humor thing..cos I got it..

I reckon we need a big SUP race down here. Maybe across the bay with huge prize money..and we all catch up with each other and shake hands..

Too right DJ, we're gonna try and get a big one organised up here at Noosa early next year around the time of the festival. 14's, Unlimited and even a division for the gang on 12's with some decent prizemoney and a great get together once the race is done!..........
