Hey Tux,

Unfortunately I was injured at work after that just hasnt been my year.

Lucky to have a really solid bunch of guys at this end, there is always something on the go and Kristi is always waking me up coz the surf is perfect!

I have been having a awesome time just working with people on fin set ups, shooting video for people wanting to sort out paddling issues etc and loaning boards to people so they dont gather dust in the garage.

We have also been playing with paddles, blade sizes, shaft lengths etc, Its been fantastic fun.

The session we had recently with Jeremy from WA and Simondo was a blast. The smile on Jeremy's face was a classic. Man that is truely what SUP is about IMO.

Prolly get more fun doing that than actually SUPing.`

Hey Mac,

I have a femorial and siatic nerve compression of some sort, it got totally out of control last week and I was hospitalized. Still trying to find out exactly whats up. Up side was they have some **** hot drugs I must say.

I dont intend having another op unless there is no other choice so I will deal with it by physio, training and weight loss. As long as I dont do weight find I should be right lol.

As I said my focus is to surf Mambo.

The goal is 95KG and back on the 9'4.

I can see some long long flat water paddles coming up, I am going to get to know lake connewarre like the back of my hand.

I just need to find the right board and I am working on that right now.

Phill

Hey Phill some great pics of Jacko styling in some small waves, he really seems to surf a sub like a shortboard

I have surfed with a lot of great surfers over the years and a lot of pro's and with out a doubt Adam Robbo would be in the top couple I have seen he is damn good surfer why he has no sponser amazes me, then again his victorian and vicco companies are really lame at backing local talent if he was west ozzie he would be doing it easy like Yaden !!

Sorry to hear that you are not well. I've been wanting to lose 8kg to get down to a more healthy 85kg. 5 weeks on I'm now at 88kg. Don't know if it's any help to you but I've been using this diet as a bit of a guide - seems to be working and doesn't seem too difficult.

Oliver thanks for the tip I will definitely check it out much appreciated. It certainly looks like its working for you in the big left pics.

I hear you got a DC 9.4, If your interested I have a few pointers and a fin config that will get you ripping on that board. I will drop you a PM.

Hey Brooko,
Adam shreads, no doubt he will get a sponsor for sure its just a matter of time!

Say Hi to Pete when he gets back.
