So the race is on Sunday/mon morning for us.
What's everyone's predictions?
Travis two years in a row?
Kai for the first time?
Connor again?
Kalama again?
Someone else?
Women's race?
Prone
Brad again?
Matty Poole?
In the women's jordie again?
One thing SUPracer does a great job of getting people excited for it

Heard Heath is in it, just watched a Skype chat Travis had with nsp about the race and mentioned Heath is running a brand new board.. I imagine this is an nsp unlimited? The guys fit enough to win it!

Don't think it will be Brad Gaul in the Prone, according to the official start list (www.molokai2oahu.com/2014-start-list/) he is doing the 2-man Stock SUP with Tom Carroll.
I think last years result showed that choice of line is crucial and if some of the paddlers gamble with a slightly different line it could make or break their race. What will be interesting is how this will pan out as the top guys may watch each other and decide to sit on each other like Connor and Kai did last year. If they all batch up I'd give it to Connor as firm favorite - he just seems to be able to pull away at will. But if Kai, Kalama, Trudon, Travis (or maybe the NZ guy Armstrong) get on a good line it's going to be down to who has the juice on the day.
That race is so hard and it's going to awesome to watch - this site gives pretty good wind forecast but only for next 48hrs: http://weather.mhpcc.edu/wrf/all6/wind.html
The guru doesn't seem to be offering very much; 12-15knots, but the Easterly direction should work in favour of the paddlers. www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=287139&sty=m_spot
Would love to see Travis take it again but I think it might go down to the line between Connor & Kai.
I enjoyed the coverage so much last year, I was sitting at the airport waiting to board a delayed flight to Bali and was enjoying a beer and cheering on Travis and Terrene, the commentators were talking up Kai and Connor and only occasionally mentioning Travis.
TB just crossed the line to take out the women's seconds before the gates opened so it was perfect timing and made a long wait enjoyable.
Mens,
1st Connor
2nd Scott Gamble
3rd Kai
Womens,
1st Sonni
2nd Devin
3rd Andrea
Just my unlimited picks anyways. After spending alot of time on maui recently with sonni she is looking the goods and she just got andrea in the recent maui race.
Good luck to all and have a safe crossing.

It would be great to think that Dave Kalama could win it at more than twice Connor and Kai's age. It's doubtful that, if Dave can't do it now, anyone else ever will. But it might take a bigger blow than they are going to get, and bigger guys are at a disadvantage in the last crucial upwind section.
I would love to see Sonni win the women's: Perhaps it would be the first time this race has been won by a European? But local knowledge must mean a lot on a course like this, so I hope she gets some good advice from her boat crew.

Boylos there isn't an App but there is a direct link. I've posted it on Face book at Sydney Paddle Surfing Club. It will let you track the paddlers and SUP RACER is giving live commentary.

That's correct. Gauly and Tom are doing a 2 man team stock SUP. Both Gauly and TC are fast on a SUP so they're in with a good chance.
Heath's a bit upset DJ as race organisers have told him he must wear the competition shirt.

This dotvision is a cool way to track a sup race.
Supracer has crashed on me a couple times.. Must be a massive following on the site..
Sounds like an epic battle out there
DotVision is displaying a blank screen for me. I guess it doesn't work on all browsers. SUPracer also down due to traffic. Oh well, no different to Battle of the Paddle, I guess I'll be finding out who won a day later. We should never have de-commissioned telegraph, would have come in handy for SUP results.
Almost at half way and the SUP's are about to be level with the Prone paddlers who started half hour earlier.
In the SUP it's Travis leading then Conner, Scott Gamble, Kai and then Dave K
Remember that the dot tracking system is on the escort boats not the paddlers and the boats zoom around all over the place thus the reason the placing change so dramatically.
At the 3 hr mark and Connor has a slight lead (30m) over Travis. Kai was with them but has now dropped back. The SUP's are now leading the race overall. Just spoke with Travs wife on his escort boat and she said he is looking and feeling great.
