Kai Lenny? Never heard of him?

It must have been an amazing event if these shots are any guide!

photo by: Terry Reis/KahiwaKiwi Media Productions

Out of interest, Kekoa is riding the same board that took Matt Lumley to second in the Aussie titles last year!

Kekoa had the biggest wave and needed one more bomb to take the lead. He went for it on the other wave on the next shot by Karisa Rh and got drilled! Haha! Yeah Koa!! Wipeout of the contest, broken board and 2nd place... STOKED!! Kekoa, you freakin was RIPPING!!!!!!

The wave that got away, from a different angle.. Well, it didn't really get away. In fact, it ate Kekoa like an angry monster then spit his board out in 2 pieces... Haha! Props for spinning around and charging this after a long, grueling day of surfing...

"congrats to 17 yr old Kai Lenny who won it all with his consistent surfing and great wave selection."

Here are some more pics of the PSH guys in action. This would have been one amazing contest to witness!!

How good is this last sequence OMG!! - Riggs dad Aaaron Naploean.
