Given that we had almost 150 people attend the launch last year and considering how much the sport has grown in the last year, this should be a BIG event!

Yep this is going to be big! Any of your mates that have questioned you about SUP, if you have thought about trying it but hadn't found the opportunity.... This is it!
All brands, all types of boards - surf, racing, cruising, downwinding. Come down to try or come down to test. Get involved in the fastest growing water sport in the world that anyone can do!

Bring the kids and have a sausage sizzle. It's a great sport and scene.

Yeah its going to be a warm one but there wouldn't be a better place to be on the Swan in those conditions.
There is plenty of shade where we have booked our site (#4) and we will also be putting up some shade shelters. Theres also plenty of parking close by as well.

I have also been notified that Adam from Coreban and Jason from West Oz Kite & SUP will be bringing down 10' Icon and Ez, 9'6 Performer, 12'6 Vision and the 14' Edge, Vision and Dart.
Look forward to seeing everyone there

For all those people that see my fb/seabreeze posts of SUPing, kiting etc during the week when everyone is at work and give me heaps (Darren, Ian etc), you will no doubt be happy to know that I am working a 12hr shift on Sunday.

Not happy at all , because this sounds like a perfect opportunity to try a heap of different boards at one location on a day that is just made for spending time in or on the water, have fun guys an gals.
For anyone who is thinking about getting into this fantastic sport, from the sound of it there will be no better time or place to give it a go, mad if you don't.

This is going to be epic! So many boards
I've been reading and looking at some of these and can't wait to try them out in relative side by side comparison.
Bet I leave knowing I definitely need one of each.

Looks like its going to be a epic day for the SUPWA Demo day.
We will be having a warm day and the breeze will be dropping out as the day progresses so make sure you bring something to drink. There's plenty of shade and parking close by so you won't have to walk too far.
Also bring your paddle if you have one as the sponsors have more boards than paddles. If you don't have one then there is bound to be a spare one about.
SUPWA memberships and t-shirts will also be available.
So grab the family or friends and we will see you for a great afternoon with the SUPWA crew.

Had a great arvo down at the demo day. A big thanks to the organizers!. Best fun i have had in a long time, we need more demo days like this.
Really taken a liking to the 12'6 x 30 Falcon now, tried the 27.5 but could not tame the beast. One of the slimmer Bark models as well, a little tipsy on it but really took to it.
Nice to see so many folk in the water.

Cheers!
