I agree......think this topic can be an appreciation of women who are strong and powerful......not just a pervy look at tits and bums

Except that it basically is a pervy look at tits and bums, and as a female reader of this forum, I am tired of it. I would have thought that recent events in the news may have curbed the activity on this topic, but no it continues. Would be nice to be able to read about SUP topics without this series of pathetic images constantly being updated.

I hate to be "that prick" but it is my experience that womens body issues come more from women than men.....not saying that men havent or dont contribute, but women are their own worst enemy

The fact that you think this has something to do with 'body issues' goes to show you guys just don't get it. As for just not clicking on it, you're right, I don't have to, but the sheer fact that this topic exists makes me think that this forum is for blokes only, bugger what the women think.

if its not about body issues, please inform me as to its nature. Im always willing to learn.

It would be for blokes only if you or any female tried to create a sexy men sup pic thread and males stoped you but still allowed this one.... Your arguement may be that you dont want one, thats ok too. but no one here is stopping any females from contributing any conntent to any subjuct. If you feel they are speak up.

Thousands and thousands of years of evolution has seen women promote their beauty to attract the best possible mate for procreation.

And now women are offended that we are attracted to them and want to look at them...

What a funny world we live in...

Well said again.

But they don't even understand what they are doing. So they aren't going to change. They have no appreciation of notions of politeness or consideration for others.

It's ironic really: here are a bunch of men protesting that they like women so much - yet acting just as if they hated them.

If they truly liked women they'd go to more trouble to behave in a way that makes women feel comfortable. But in fact they don't actually like women, they like looking at pictures of them, like the adolescent in school who can't pluck up the courage to actually talk to a girl.

My wife saw this thread and her judgement was, and I quote: "sad wankers". Quite.

So women are prepared to pose for images, paid or unpaid, in a manner that is designed to attract a males attention and that will ultimately end up for public viewing and then get upset that men look at them.

Maybe Coco & Co. should direct their dislike to the women who pose in the photos rather than the people that look at them.

What really gets up my nose is as a male I am vilified, and it's automatically assumed by society that I am sexist, a perpetrator of domestic violence, a dirty perve, a sexual predator and of lower intelligence compared to females. Males are regularly represented this way in the media.

But the truth is that most of us are good people. If a female wants to complain about non-naked pictures of females on a public forum, then she needs to lead by example and encourage woman not to sell themselves and help promote males in a more positive manner.

And ... Just because males don't regularly voice an opinion on how we are relentlessly vilified, doesn't mean we don't notice...

I have to say that I disagree with you Area 10

Yes, this thread is titled "Sexy Sup Women" but I think you'll find that the vast majority of the guys that read and post on this thread love and appreciate every facet of women and not just their looks. Example is the pic of Karla Gilbert. Tea Trea posted that she helped his daughter through a very rough time in her life and that he is forever grateful. Those words praise her character. Not her looks
.
But regardless, what is wrong with appreciating the beautiful female form? As Crakes said, it is genetically programmed into us to like the way women look in order to assist in perpetuating the species. No?

I have many female friends that are physically beautiful. But thats not the reason we are friends. They are good people. And I have seen pretty much every single one of them stop and appreciate a good looking guy walking past. Some will even make some kind of lude comment. So its not something that is strictly a male trait. We all do it. And anyone who says they don't, frankly, is a liar.

Again you fail to address the problem directly.

Either there is a real problem here or a few "feel" there is. That in no way takes away or makes their feelings less or not real. Sometimes feelings are skewed by internal emotions and subconscious things that are not directly due to the perceived problem.

Now either you can be a part of the solution or your negativity can continue to create a divide and propagate the problem.

You'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Did anyone been introduced in talk between women during a female party ? well, I've done and that's weirder than most of those posts "sexy girl SUP pics" on this forum.

For me it's pretty simple. Click on the things you want to read and don't judge others that think different to you. The thread title is really specific and if it might offend, just scroll on to one that appeals. BTW there would be very few defending women's rights that wouldn't look at a sexy girl, SUP or no SUP. It's in our DNA and sexy, just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The same logic could be used for almost anything - in an extreme example, the thread could be titled 'kiddie porn' and those who don't like it don't have to click on it. Before everyone jumps down my throat, I know it's not the same thing, but simply arguing that you 'don't have to click on it' doesn't make it not offensive, and therefore doesn't automatically give it the right to exist on this forum or any other.
At the very least, as a decent, inclusive, contributing member of this group, do you never think to yourself that even if one or two people feel uncomfortable or upset in some way by a topic, wouldn't it be nice to remove the thing that makes them feel this way? Wouldn't it be nice to encourage women to take part? Every time I have a look at the recent posts, I'm always dismayed to see yet another picture added to this thread. Even more disappointing have been the first class mansplaining going on to justify what is really just an immature, thoughtless example of objectification.

That is a pretty extreme example and quite different to what is being posted. As for right to exist, thought freedom of speech / expression was a basic freedom we all enjoy. I'm not promoting or defending these pages but do believe in freedom of expression. What exactly is it that offends you? How can we post beautiful sunrises / sunsets, whales, dolphins and almost anything else but the moment it's a woman it's objectification. Are you judging from your perspective or for everyone reading this forum? I can assure you I am able to appreciate a picture of a woman without resorting to objectification. Wonder how you or other women might react to a hot men SUP thread?

WOW!!

Firstly, "Kiddie Porn" is illegal and anyone involved in it is a filthy low life criminal that deserves a lifetime of prison followed by purgatory in hell. So not really a fair or accurate comparison.
Secondly, if society took down a post or pic anytime one or two people were offended, then there would be no media anywhere in the world and we'd all be sitting at home staring at a corner of a darkened room hoping we see or do nothing that may offend.
Thirdly, really, who are you or we for that matter, to decide that this is actually objectification? The ladies in these pictures intentionally posed for them. As pointed out by someone else, they were paid to do it and had a choice whether or not they wished to participate. Just as anyone who may find the thread offensive has that same freedom of choice to either click and look, or keep scrolling. So I guess your argument here is kinda invalid.
Besides which, any women who takes pride in her physical wellbeing and takes care of herself I. Order to look good, I praise them for having will power, strength, determination, self knowledge and the focus required to train and eat properly in order to achieve those results. From that comes a big dose of self esteem which empowers them in every part of their lives which in most cases translates to some form of success in life. Kudos to all of them. And the same goes for men too.
I much prefer a world with people who feel good about themselves and encourage each other to achieve, than everyone being miserable and hating on each other and calling out "offensive" at anything that moves.
