I think I understand Coco: for instance, as an overweight, short, balding SUPer, I conceive I could be ashamed by pics and vids of young semi-gods and make me feel I dont measure up. If I do not feel this way, it is because as a male, the society pressure to be attractive is not as invasive as for females (even if it also exists for males especially as teens).
But I think we (male or female) can take pleasure at looking at the female form in a civilized way: We have transformed the hunger evolved during billions of years into the art of cooking, and it is not because we eat meat that we look at all animals as just potential meals. (well, maybe the analogy is a bit awkward, I guess :-) )

As a nurse I,m working +20years day in day out between women and often as the only male member of the team. All I have learned, never try to think you understand them, neither do they understand you when you are watching an awesome barrel .
(and my guess is that if you REALLY want to offend them is to step aside a bit because you wanna check that wave).
btw I really don,t like the suggestion to self-censorship. Its by far the biggest threat of a democratic society, and yes that starts with little things like this.
If you don,t like to see pics like this I,m pretty sure Saoudi-Arabia or Turkey an help you to find a very good "spam/ not appropiate-filter content" filter.
Tim McKenna work is always stunning, including also with female models
His "bikini" album is at: http://www.timmckennaphoto.com/us/features/page-292-bikini+swimsuit+issue+2014.html
A thread in the longboard room about thongs (footwear) was deleted because it soon became about thongs (G-strings). Seems to me that if pics of sexy people (of any gender) are posted and there's not at least a SUP or a paddle or a wave in them, then that's got no place in a SUP/surfing forum that is supposed to be family friendly. But I know there are people in here who disagree.
If anyone thinks a post in this or any thread is inappropriate, I'd suggest flagging it to the moderators.
Just click on the flag at the top of the post ... I reckon admin does a good job of removing the really objectionable stuff -- but they have to know about it first. And if they don't delete the post you've objected to, at least you know they have deemed it acceptable within their forum guidelines/standards. And it might save you from getting into an unwinnable argument with someone in here.
Nightie night.
I'd just like to register a view that there are plenty of ladies out there that, like me, don't fall into the category of an "oil painting". However, they have a strong connection to the ocean through paddling, surfing, diving, sailing or whatever. In my book those women ultimately register as a hellavot sexier than some glammed up supermodel any day of the week.
Bet they were forced at gunpoint to wear those bikinis. No doubt they would much prefer to be suping in a burka
There is some photo chopping in that photo above looks odd.
Notice how I load the wife up with kids and the lunch :) Good girl.
Its getting to the stage where fashion magazines are almost having to add a footnote to their pictures.....saying "this is not what this person really looks like"....
Now this is a real surfing woman .....bearing the scars of her big wipeout at chopes.......flush those bimbos down the toilet
