wondering are these open to all ie . club members from the NWBR , or are the comps only open to PBBR members
Its all a bit confusing , so NWBR members or PBBR members have to pay for a surfing Tas membership to compete in the state titles , even though they are already paid up members of a board riders club . Agree it would make a lot more sense to pay one membership which includes your state membership as well as your club ..ESP since surfing Tas oversees the clubs anyway .
Would think a lot of people think that's how it works now.
The disadvantage I guess is that it will increase club membership fees , but you would think most members would prefer to pay once , then pay and then have to pay again .
Ok results from round 3 held in 3' close outs, open faces were a bit hard to come by, but a few ok rides were had.

Park Beach Boardriders will be running their inaugural "I've Cold Classic" comp on 29/6/14, that's the weekend after the "TassieSUP Winter Classic" so everyone should be in top form or hoping to make amends after their performance from the weekend before

Hoping to get back to my Home state sometime this year for a holiday , and hit some surf. You blokes look like you have a good thing going on down their. Anyone paddled down the Franklin yet on a sup? , or the Gordon river? So many awesome places to paddle in Tas.
Awesome , how good would that be. I remember some days as a kid in Macquarie harbour on fishing boats , could cut up rough would be good for downwinders. Their must be places in Tas that would rival or better Hawaii's famed downwind runs. Albeit a hell of a lot colder
You Tassie guys are the stoke good work fellas, love the way you take the p1ss on your mates and don't take things too seriously,I'm sure this changes come comp days
