It looks like only those with
TassieSUP hoodies are considered
for selection ... is that so ?

And if so .. how much ? .. what price ?

Surely you can find somebody better to represent your team in the open mens.

There's a lot of paddlers down here aspiring
to representation in the open mens event.
It could go to Billboard, but he's injured.
So it could go to Skeghead after Fiji training camp.
Or it could go to a number of paddlers who just get lucky on the day.
But anyway .. the only one that's assured of selaction is Sue .. and she's the
team manager and hair stylist.

Still waiting to see a few others put their hands up for a spot, but your right about taking Sue, we don't need a physio, we need a hairstylist as a priority as I now some of the guys won't go otherwise.

KYRON can't be considered for selection
until he has a tassieSUP hoodie
and competes in the TassieSUP Winter Classic AND byo Demmo Day.

Since when were DVD's used to win surfing comps ???

Next thing you'll be playing Test Cricket by submitting
DVD footage of your best strokes and balls etc.

God save us ..

Not sure about the Nationals, but what's much more important is when and where will the "2013 TassieSUP Winter Classic" be, there has been some suggestion it's held on the east coast this year to make it more appealing for the northwest coast crew to attend, we are waiting to see what sort of feedback we get.
Remember though, if you want to go to the nationals looks like you will have to make it through the "2013 TassieSUP Winter Classic" first !

If he attends the winter classic - and wins - then yes, he would represent Tassie. Be aware though that there are some very talented, and cunning comp' surfers in Tas' who may just suprise a few people when the green flag goes up !!
Unlike some other states, in Tassie you will have to attend the selection event and win to be eligible to represent us nationally.

You're right

Tassie's got the best cricketers
the best AFL footballers
The best axemen
the best tree sitters
the best big wave surfers
the biggest bushfires
the biggest bridge to be knocked down
and now Billboard .. the best longboarder.

Hey Tassie SUP, you'll find all State Reps from all other States have to attend the nominated State Selection events - it is part of the Surfing Australia guidelines.

Bring the video to scamander

You guys need to get the Sups affliated with Surfing Australia , to organise your own state titles for qualification for the Aussies.

http://www.surfingaustralia.com/tas/ Surfing Australia is "The Offical" holder of the Aussie titles , which enables you a chance at the "World Titles"

Tasmania already has allocations for Surfing Australia's national titles. Surfing Tasmania has the right to delegate these allocations.

Piros, we have been approached by Surfing Tasmania as i looks like they want to use the "2013 TassieSUP Winter Classic" as their selection event for the Tasmanian team to go the the Nationals as they have only heard good things about "TassieSUP". From what we can gather in this thread it appears that the Queenslanders rely on videos posted on Seabreeze to select their team, so we aren't quite sure what you are trying to get at, can you please clarify this for us ?
