Northwest board riders are running a comp this Sunday , meet up at 9 at sulphur creek beach .. Comp will be held there or at presso bay / penguin reef depending on conditions The northwest crew will be using this as a warm up to make sure everyone is in top form come June 21 St .

Quite a few new boards out there since the last comp , forecast sounding good waist- chest high NNW swell . It's going to be on like donkey kong

Looks like the southern crew will be doing their practice in these sort of conditions if the forecast holds for tomorrow

HIDE THE ELASTRATER for a few weeks.

that's what I'd recommend you do if you're

married to a vet nurse.

no need to hide the emasculators have been saved by the surf forecast .

surf forecast for sunday now is flat , forecast for Saturday is waist - shoulder high NNW swell, so sup contest has been moved forward to Saturday meet up at 9 am western end preservation Bay ,
plan is to get into the corner out of the wind .

any southern sup surfers wanting to come along and check out the competition and the warm water are more then welcome ,

What's the difference between

an elastrator and

an emasculator ??

Rough guide - elastrators used on those of the smaller testicle variety - eg lambs , calves , those getting out after a cold surf in the cold waters of southern Tassie .

- emasculators used on the more well endowed - bulls , stallions , SUP Surfers surfing in the warm waters of northern Tassie .

Moving right along I hear the luffra motel is booking up so for those wanting quality accommodation close to the action Of the winter classic get in fast .

No divisions for the older competitors ?

hi skeg, it will be the same as last year, you will all surf in the open division (women may have there own final if we have enough entries) and age group winners will be awarded on their ranking overall in the competition.

Training in storm surf .. where available
Perfecting 360's and other gimmicks
Drafting out an acceptance speech just in case

question - have we got the Steve Irwin on standby just in case we have a couple of harpoonings - not to mention the national parks in case of beachings

reckon that pic in the snow could have been last year at the BOP race - bit fresh , stopped to fill up the car on the way home after the race and had to wait for the diesel pump to thaw out - the diesel was frozen

TD .. I know you're a professional
and we shouldn't be touting for
business .. but

Re NUDE SWIM

Will you have the elastrator and/or
the emasculator on hand ?

Do you bulk bill ?

Under the circumstances would
anaesthetic be necessary ?

Would such a procedure be detrimental
to the patients' SUPing ability ?

PS don't forget to
book into the Lufra Hotel

We will also need a few competitors to put their hand up for a bit of judging, it's not rocket science and good experience for your own club comps, Surfing Tasmania will supply the contest director, head judge and a couple of judges.

To the contrary RR
I see signs of hyper activity .. !!
Huge swells coming up the bay.
The points working.

This is motivation time for both body and mind.

Read inspirational publications: Bashing down the doors,
Searching for MP
MR, MT, WB, TC and
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Water activities: Go strait to the head of the line-up queue .. always.
Only ride half the wave and get back to head of queue.
Learn to cope with the flack that you cause.
During the altications take off on the next best wave.
Put TassieSUP stickers on all the cars in the car park.

Sincerely

DoctorSUP
