Not that skinny
But really nice
Very impressed so far.
Looks like you could catch waves on that. Is that the bump rider ?
Not sure what it is - I just bought it second hand - 17'6" Blue Planet Unlimited.
Not listed on Blue Planet web site, but mentioned here.

Current conditions.
I'm basking in the afterglow of a trip north, trying not to admit the water is 12 degrees back here.
Hanging on without booties as long as I can - hate them.
Actually I feel a bit silly donning rubber while an octogenarian swims off from next to me in speedos, but won't be long now.
And there's wetsuit shorts under the boardies.
Eagles Nest with 3 extra SUPpers enjoying a pass off the Island . A bit of a funky swell which made you work for the good ones.
Town beach....didn't want to paddle out as slightly big....slightly crunchy. ..a pounding shore break with an occasional nice looking rip channel that you might be able to paddle out without getting your hair wet.....but maybe not.
But everyone else went out.....h
ard to catch waves (think i only caught 4......but didn't get pulverised)
Towball went out on his super short board.....it wasn't a happy story....went back to beach for his sunova :)

Well I got a lot more than 4 waves on both boards

We see this every weekend with the "weekend warriors".....because they got only two days of the week to go surfing....they lose perspective...basically go into a "sup frenzy". Town beach was back to normal today....caught 20 or 30 waves.....hardly any one else out :)
Not today, does the weekend still count ?
Torquay Point Saturday, another well known break on Sunday morning.
Click the link for video of the 1 wave captured for the weekend.

too big for me today - Frigates Fiji, few boys charging
so windy it was best to stay on my knees until trying for a wave
Not much surf and no wind......so around the shipping buoys on Bic Wing 12'6. .....then a play around with Naish 11'4 at town beach
