You'll bounce back I'm sure.. Just like the guys in that vid.
I once broke both bones in my lower right leg clean though when I landing a jump in well over mast high surf and I was maxed out with a 4.2 sail.. I left the top the wave right in the pocket and it sent me way to vertical.. It was about 40 knots and I reckon I got at least 50' of air off the lip of the wave.. All went quiet at the top of the jump as all the spray left and I hovered for a few second while I looked down at deep blue ocean.. I should have bailed at that point but even a drop from that height was going to hurt and my rig would have landed at least 50 meters downwind.. I decided hang on and nose land it.. I've done it before and if you get it steep enough you end up burying it deep but it's a soft landing.. I miss landed it and landed a little flat.. I was on a board that I got off one of the top Hawaiians and because it had a half inch thick stringer the board didn't break.. I sailed away from the landing with blurred vision and shaking my head to shed all the water.. I then thought my front footstrap was broken.. I looked down and it seemed ok.. I jibed and fell.. Then came up with my foot flopping around off the end of my leg.... Pretty nasty but all's good now.
I don't mean to hijack or take anything away from your injury but **** happens.. Once you're back you will appreciate your health and your biking, sup'ing and windsurfing even more than before..
