OneCaliforniaDay is great and worth getting because of disc two.

The second disc has heaps more stuff that they could not fit in the main film because it screens at the cinema's in the US and had a time restriction

Dics two also has Greg Nole shaping a solid wood board and some other guy doing some cool artwork on surfboards..also heaps more surfing.

I noticed that Quicksilver shops now sell it.

Couldnt name one favorite, but some that I would name as favorites have already been mentioned:

Big Wednesday, classic line froms Jacks Mum during the party "Keep waxer off the coffee table" only to see him crush it at end of party getting his toes over.

Strom Riders, love the three stooges like pre movie feature of Kongs Island with Rabbit, Chappy and Kong. plus some awesome early 80's tube riding.

Innermost limits of pure fun, camping and surfing on the airforce base and ducking for cover when planes doing a bombing run.

Anyone remember the Video magazine type movies Hawaii 9-0 and Hawaii 9-1. show casing 1990 and 1991 Hawaii seasons with cool soundtrack like the Angels, INXS etc. I watched them over and over and over as a teenager.

Currently love Sprout especially the bit at the end with Rasta and Dan Molloy on the single fin Lopez guns pulling in to massive barrels in the Mentawais.

The surf vids have been copping a bit of a flogging at home of late while trying to get a 3 week old settled at night!

The postie came today just as I was heading off to paddle and he had my new surf movie 'Live'

After paddling I stopped off at my best friends shop who sells home cinema stuff and I went upstairs to his private sound lounge and watched it at full volume..

Great movie... More of a doco than I expected but it has great music and interviews along great surfing footage.

One big surprise was a section mid way through the movie with some of the gnarliest big wave stuff that I've ever seen..and it's all 08 footage.

These monster waves are sucking dry big pointy rocks that you have to bottom turn around.. or die.

There's a great quote near the end by this guy.

BTW.. I just emailed Dave Parsa about the movie and thanking him for sending it to me... and also sent him a link to this thread..

I asked him how SUP is going down in his part of the world... He may even reply to me here..

I'd love to see him do a SUP specific movie... (Fingers crossed).

" Hi David,
Wow, its great to see I have a friend on your side of the world! I just read your kind words and am so stoked! That's all I really wanted out of this project was for surfers to enjoy it. Those ghost tree waves were unbelievably dangerous!!! Agreed! I just tried to post on your site, but being the relatively slow person I am(!), I couldn't find the "reply" or "post" button so couldn't find a way to post. If you have time, send me the "Idiot's guide to posting online comments"!!!
Thanks again brother (now I have a brother in Australia!!!!! very cool)
