paul jones, sunny coast boy (blue eyed mexican). good to see local boys doing so well in such a well renowned race!!
As usual, AWESOME effort by all
JM , another record and will be doing it SUP next year????
Conner Baxter, still a teen for another few years , SCAREY
How about beating the good paddlers who do it as a team. That is truley spectacular.
Awesome accomplishment Jamie. Now hang up that prone board and get back to kicking arse on the stand up.
Connor at 4:26 kinda makes you wonder whether breaking 4 hours on a SUP is possible . The surf ski record is 3:20. OC record is in the 3:40s. It wasn't long ago that we were waiting for the first SUP to go under 5hrs! Now this...Anyone know what happened to Dave Kalama?
What is "Men's Top 3 Stock SUP:" please?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just don't know...cheers
i checked for ali. looks like shes got her molokai crossing ticked off- well done

Alison finshed in 6hr 19min, she said it was great run this yr! Stoked for her. Such a great job ali!
X angie
Well I never expected the channel crossing to be fun, but it was great out there today! Not what you would call an epic downwinder but probably as good as the Kaiwi channel can get - hence new record times in every division!
Stoked to finish this year and very happy with my time and place. I was paddling a SIC f-14 with a rudder in the unlimited class so I couldn't keep up with the quickest girls on the 16 and 17ft boards but happy to finish in front of all the girls on rudderless 14ft stock boards, which is what i was aiming for.
Highlights of the day were definately Jamie getting number 10 and equally as good, sitting at the finish line, after most people had gone home, waiting for my friends to come back with a car for us to load up the boards and watching Mark Matheson, a paraplegic, cross the finish line in 9hr18min - what an effort and definately an inspiration to all who were there to watch!
Hey Goaty. Pretty sure Dave Kalama beat Jamie last year.
The video of Connor going along China Wall is pretty cool. You can get in alot of trouble when there is a bit of swell along there due to the bommies on your left that sometimes can fully close out. Looks like he was handling it like a veteran!
