The bombie must have gotten better because i was out there early for a bit on sat but it was a bit small for it to really be workin. Had to go somewhere else and so glad i did it would have been some of the best waves i towed, not that big but indo perfect. We stayed out at the bombie for about 1/2 hour but it was fat and a bit small to surf Maybe the tide was wrong?

Mate sounds awesome! Damn!! sold my boat ! Mate have you seen those new Naish "Guns" on the new Naish Web site (well I'm betting you have) Imagine droping into the Bombie on one of them ! Yeeha !
JUST WONDERING PIROS.
HOW BIG WOULD U SAY THIS IS?
Nice shot of the Alley , Well to me thats a solid six foot , when was or which swell was that ? Man !
Yeah thats a solid 6 foot day at Currumbin , we were there for the change of the tide and were there early , did'nt see you there Jacko there was only one tow in guy there and he ran me over first wave and snapped off one of my trailer fins , we just sat very wide and waited for the big ones , the thumping wind was cross/shore making it really hard to catch the smaller waves with softer peaks.
The bombie turns on and off like a tap the swell comes and goes but if you surf it as much as I do you know when it going to be on. Here's a tip if there is a touch of north in the wind this place will pick more swell than anywhere on the coast.

That was a fun day.
I got out in the morning and got about 4 or 5 waves and couldnt get back out
And my dad stayed out for 3 hours and got some solid ones.
