That's him, get to know him, he's one of the best joke tellers around, he's got a million of them.
Funny as a fart in the bath.
I had a quiet word with the young fella early today Obs - will chat about that when you get here soon mate

Pup don't you think it's time for you to do a royal tour
is a board over ten foot really going to give you street cred over actual surfing ability.
seems so in here.

pretty irrelevant mate - the bigger boards are getting into waves earlier & easier plus with a smaller finning making them quite easy to turn , brilliant glide trim & nosing

Snake, don't even try to bring logic into the conversation, you know there's no room for it here.
Why do you have that 17'er Lacey? Don't you have shorter ones
Actually don't answer that, I don't want you to have to justify anything.
Its all about buying "cool"
I bought out of practicality. And based on the recommendations from others who've dealt with him and the advice he gave, no regrets.

Vanders don't take Lacey serious, nobody else dose oh and for the record he has ordered one as well.

The only thing I take seriously is his sidewalk stance instruction, it's valuable information that I greatly appreciate.
On my 11'8" Josh Hall I'm using a Greenough 4A combination.
As a single I use an 8" 4A
As a 2+1 I use a 7" 4A and 87mm (3.4") DVS side bites from Shapers
I also have an 11' Christenson - I started with a 9" CC fin but now go with an 8"
My take on these Glider type boards is they have such a straight outline and the rails, especially on the Josh and Christenson are like nothing I've seen on any Aussie made versions of these boards. The boards sit very comfortably high on the wave face and the rail locks into the wall eliminating the requirement for large fins. That's my observation anyway.

Can you post a pic of the Christensen
Not as straight sided as I thought it would be
looking gun like, could be camera angles
Cheers for the pic.

Yep, that sounds right, I reckon that's pretty much on the money.
Nose riders are a different matter, they need a big arsed fin to lock them in, but not a glider.
I recall some major shaper once saying something like that about single fins, it went along the lines of "from 6 to 9 ft, it 1 inch per foot, after 9 feet, all bets are off."

No your wrong that shaper said anything single over 9 ft.
Vanders do you have a close up shot of your rails on the green monster?
Rocker
4" from the tail
Mid board
1ft in front of the fin
And before anyone comments, I intentionally gave the grass a heavier haircut than normal.
