Yeah I agree incredible achievement with the quality of female surfing these days. I loved her interview where she basically said her backhand was crap and had to work on it.

Why does this bloke keep saying Activation. He just said it 5 times in a minute.
Good heat though. Started a bit slow but got interesting when the waves started rolling through. Should be some good viewing.

yeah I could really go with out listening to him. Shame they have partnered him with Ross - as he is my fav commentator by a country mile.
Its impressive to see what the guys can do is waves like this, but its not very entertaining..
I agree JB. Its amazing what they can do on a crappy wave. Personally, I'd rather see them charging 6-8ft Cloudbreak with long tubes and critical turns in the pocket mixed in with some speed runs any day of the week. Much less of a lottery than conditions like today. I rather take the waves out of it and let the best surfer win.

Yes Mac - there will only ever be one King Love the way he schooled the news kids on the block today - they were all doing their best to land an air and failing - and he just comes along and smashes a nice one out first crack. Yep that will learn ya The old dog still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
