Well happy and a little sad because I dont know when I will be able to ride it. Its a beautiful board though. I like the shape and the glass job is really good too. Its a McTavish fireball evo2.

Very happy for you smh always a good feeling taking delivery of a new board.
Hope it cheers you up and it sure will make you work harder in the rehab stage.
Look at it this way the board will be well and truly cured.

The dimensions are perfect for asea and myself,is that a mct board bag?
Did they do you a deal on the bag?and last what was the turn around time
from order placement? bugger it one more what size center fin?

Happy Days

Sweet !! That style of glassing is really nice. Really popular lately. Quite funky!

I like it a lot !

Thanks guys . Mac the bag is a McT and yes I got it and the leggie as part of the package. Its a 7 in fin that looks black but when you hold it up to the sun its a really deep burgundy colour. Turn around time was only a little under 4 weeks and they told me because of the tint / pigment job it would be 6 weeks. It must have been a good time to order a board I guess. Had a good look right over it and its got a fair bit more rocker than what I usually ride. This will be good because I reckon it will turn good as well. My mate was over at the time giving me guitar lessons ( i dont think I'll ever learn it ) and he was pretty impressed with it. The missus even likes it.

7 inch fin is the perfect size smh, you'll be smashing it up in no time.
That's a fast turn around for a tint,I was told 4 to 5 but the next day
I was told its my lucky day, they had a blank in stock which saves 2 weeks.

I've only seen one Evo 2 in action and the way asea was smashing it up,they
look the goods.

Send it up here and I'll warm it up for ya

PS, you know I'm on their payroll

Mine is 3 and a half weeks away. Sunset tint, twin converging stringers, Evo II, Red Single Fin, with red clear gloss side bites, in GXQ foil, but Wizz has to do these up as custom fins, not FCS. Can't wait !!

White FCS Plugs, to blend with the milky white tint in the tail section. I already have some white fibreglass side bite fins.... I might use these fins too, so they blend in with the white pigment tint in the tail.... I'll try them both out, and see which ones look best (not surf best!)... Truth is, it will change the surfing by about 1%, and change the looks by 5% !

Yeah, sorry, my board was a G up.

But it might actually happen you know... August has been a pretty good month for me... But I would go 9'1 probably, x 22"1/2 x 2"7/8.

Mac, what were the dims on your son's board? I would go a fraction wider and thicker than that one. Or maybe just a fraction thicker actually. Just 1/8th thicker, but everywhere...
