My vote for the board of the year is "the one that you have the most fun on".

One reason I say that is that I can't afford to be a board whore like Lacey and that other chap.

Best board I rode this year was the FW Potatonator- epic piece of machinery, closely followed by the 10 footer - probably because its seen so much action recently Should have listened to Ob, Mac & Vanders and got a 10 footer a lot sooner. I have 2 boards that should have made this list but they have not had enough water time yet. Things will change soon !

Action shot of the Potatonator - she was a great board - taken earlier in the year when we had waves

A balsa log I saw in Michael Cundiths shop in Byron, could have been the nicest looking board I have ever seen!

Its a hard call to choose a winner out of all the nice boards posted up this year. But I'd have to go one of the wooden boards that a guy posted up here & in the SB room. They were'nt just a sheet of balsa sandwiche. These things were constructed of lots of neatly cut pieces of wood. The way they were cut and put together with different types (colours) of wood looked awesome. The shape of them looked good too

For me, I've had 4 new boards this year. The Mardi Gra V2 & Psychedelic Germ have been awesome in small & big waves. My new CW LB has been great too. Although I always love getting new boards, if anything I'd have to say my quiver needs trimming down, not upgrading. But I won't be telling the missus that

I plan on taking those 3 boards to Hawaii next year, they pretty much cover all the bases except super tiny & scary big. 2 sizes I can live without

what are the dimensions of it, local down my way has one and loves it but it looks to be too small for him he gets hung up under the lip a lot on takeoff.are they all fixed dimensions in width and thickness according to length or variations of everything depending on what you want.
is that Forries left?
